Evenings on Oak, June 13 and July 11
Head to Bonner Springs for Evenings on Oak the second Thursday of June and July for food trucks, live music and a good time to the streets of Downtown Bonner. Come out for dancing, food and fun with vendors, our downtown shops and the community! The event will run 5-8 p.m. with City Band performing at 8:30 p.m.

Downtown Overland Park Art Fair, June 14-15
There's always something fun happening in Overland Park! This summer, check out he third annual Downtown Overland Park Art Fair on June 14-15. This summer art party features an abundance of food and drinks, street performers and live music as you explore the creations of more than 75 juried artists, makers and creators. Artists will be selling original works, prints, ceramic goods, stickers, and more.
To cap off the first day, the Teresa Deaton Band will perform on the Thompson Park stage from 5-8 p.m. Bring your blankets and folding chairs to enjoy the show!
The Art Fair will extend from Thompson Park down Santa Fe Drive to 79th Street. The event schedule is as follows: Friday, June 14 from 4-8 PM, and Saturday, June 15 from 8 AM-12 PM. Don’t miss out on the fun!

The hottest event in Lenexa this summer is the Great Lenexa BBQ Battle, June 21-22! Gates open at 4:30 p.m. Friday with concessions, music and activities for kids. Gates will open on Saturday at 9 a.m. and the event concludes at 4:30 p.m. after the winners are announced.

Put the Third Friday Art Walk in downtown Kansas City, KS at the top of your KC summer bucket list! Happening (you guessed it) every third Friday during May-October, the Art Walk promotes community camaraderie through creativity. Leavenworth Cruisers Car Show, August 10
Aug. 10 is shaping up to be a big day in Leavenworth. The Leavenworth Cruisers Car Show will bring dozens of meticulously maintained classics to Ray Miller Park for a day on display. Downtown, the Leavenworth Farmers Market and Leavenworth City Market will offer locally grown produce and independent craft vendors in Haymarket Square. And, as night falls, the annual Jazz by the River concert will heat up the University of St. Mary campus with tunes from a host of musicians.

Disney100: The Exhibition, visit daily through Nov. 30
Walt Disney began his animation career right in the heart of Kansas City. Now Disney’s history and impact is back in Kansas City again as “Disney100: The Exhibition” takes over Union Station. Kansas City is one of the first three cities to host the historic North American tour. The exhibit features more than 250 artifacts, props and costumes spanning 10 galleries.
