Bonner Springs, KS - Join us to officially kick off the holiday season with Santa, carolers, and cookies! On Saturday, December 2, we begin our holiday festivities at 4:45 p.m. in Centennial Park with a Candy Cane Hunt. Then, enjoy our downtown lighted parade with Santa. The Mayor’s Annual Christmas Tree Lighting happens at 5:45 p.m. with local elementary school choirs. Lastly, visit with Santa at the Cookies and Cocoa event at the Community Center from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Gardner, KS - Find the perfect gift this season at Gardner Grange’s Annual Holiday Farmers Market on Saturday, December 9 at Gardner Grange Hall, 136 E. Washington Street, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Enjoy unique craft items and food from many local vendors.  The Gardner Grange will also be serving a light breakfast and lunch.  Happy shopping!

Kansas City, KS - Join the mischievous little elf Eddie and his loyal companion Sparky the reindeer as they embark on a quest to recover eight toys designated for the children on Santa's list that have gone missing! Assist them in locating these precious items before the grand night of Santa's arrival! Enchant offers an enchanting and immersive experience, infusing magic into every nook and cranny, making it an ideal destination for joyous seasonal festivities. Enchant is open November 24 through December 31 at Legends Field, 1800 Village West Parkway in Kansas City, Kansas. This dazzling, multi-sensory experience will transport the whole family to a spectacular winter wonderland.  Guests can also enjoy ice skating, hot chocolate, food, local vendors, a visit with Santa and more!


Kansas City, MO - Kansas City’s festive markets and seasonal celebrations make it easy to find the perfect gift for everyone on your list. Each weekend between Thanksgiving and Christmas, step into a shopping wonderland with the Strawberry Swing’s 13th Annual Holiday Swing at Crown Center Square or browse 75+ local vendors at Merry Market in the heart of the historic City Market. Leavenworth, KS - The 31st Annual Leavenworth Vintage Homes Tour has become a holiday tradition for area residents and visitors as they tour vintage homes decorated for the season and learn the history of past owners and their lives in the First City of Kansas. A tour of local homes offers a glimpse into the unusual legacy of history to be found only in Leavenworth. Selected homes will be festooned in holiday decor to transport visitors back in time as they become immersed in the Christmas spirit on Sunday, December 10.  Tickets are on sale at Candle Queen Candles, The Carroll Mansion, and Leavenworth Antique Mall. Lenexa, KS - Whether you are just getting started or wrapping up your holiday shopping, Lenexa has three festive events to help you check off your list! Here are a few events to get you in the festive mood:  

>> On December 7, a holiday classic comes to life as Lenexa presents It’s A Wonderful Life, Live Radio Play! (*Adapted by Joe Landry)

>> On December 8, Naughty or Nice Games is a family-friendly fun time at the Lenexa Rec Center with story time, crafts, a bounce house and a special grumpy guest!

>>On December 15, a Lenexa will hold a Candy Cane Hunt (for little ones 6 and under). Dress the kids warmly to hunt for candy canes at the Lenexa Community Center. Next, head inside to warm up with milk and cookies, story time, crafts and a special musical performance.

Liberty, MO - Santa's helpers in Liberty, MO have a special opportunity to write a letter and mail it off to the North Pole. Santa’s mailbox and a North Pole photo op will be set up next to the giant tree at City Hall (101 E Kansas St, Liberty, MO 64068) starting December 1 through December 20. Be sure to include a return address on your letter. Santa and his elves have been known to send a reply. Overland Park, KS - The Luminary Walk is open weekends November 24 through December 16 at the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens. Take a stroll along the lit pathways to experience the magical Gnome and Fairy Villages, Marder Garden by candlelight, the colorful Children's Garden, and enjoy musical performances throughout. The gardens are bright with color while the walkways through quiet woods are lit with candles. Don’t forget to grab a photo with Santa!
